If you have never heard the story of George Müller, you are truly missing out - these are the diaries of a man in 19th century England who over the course of his lifetime established, by prayer alone, an orphanage that provided for over 120,000 impoverished orphans not just physical but spiritual needs, and all this never asking of a single pent.

If your faith is low, this is the read for you. One of the most amazing personal accounts to me is one of having literally pennies left, all the food run out, and an hour before lunch and he and his staff bow to their knees and ask the Lord for provision. With hundreds mouths for them to feed, a food delivery truck breaks down in front of the orphanage, and in a day when refrigeration was not possible, fed the entire orphanage. This is one of my all-time favorite books.

The audiobook for this is actually free as is the content as it's copyright is lapsed. You can purchase on Amazon, though I have no idea who the money goes to (other than Amazon) and the reader is the same. If you choose to read online, and if you are a Mac/iPhone user use "reader view" to make the reading experience extra plesant.
