No picture says it more clear, no movie can show it better, than this scene from the Lord of the Rings, where Frodo’s longtime and loyal friend, there with him all the way, cannot bear Frodo’s burden, but can only carry him through it.  Through thick and thin, and loyal to the end, this is a picture of true friendship.
